Ongoing analysis of prospective franchise buyer demographics reveals that the Baby Boomer generation (aged 55-73) accounts for roughly one quarter of total prospects these days – but they have the strongest financial profile of any cohort. In fact, the percentage of Boomers with more than $500,000 in estimated income-producing assets indexes 67% above average. Also, 80%+ own their own homes with estimated home values exceeding $500,000 – the highest among all age groups and 13% above average.
